Like all our mince, the minced pork is 95% visual lean. We include the 5 % fat for the much needed moisture and flavour. Until you have tried our mince, you do not know what good mince tastes like.
We only use leg of pork for dicing. This is because it is the leanest part of the pig; nobody wants a lump of fat. Instead, you are getting the finest cubes of lean, tender, free-range pork.
The farmer specially selects our own gilt pigs; understanding our requirements. They are allowed to roam free and grow naturally, living stress free lives. Keeping their lives stress free means they live a happy life, which really shows in the meat; allowing the meat to relax. Happy pig, happy butcher and happy customer. It's really not that bad pigging out after all!
Not a fan of fatty pork? Well then leg is for you. Our legs of pork are virtually all lean meat. They have a lovely layer of scored pork rind for the crackling lovers!
