Lived in Aylesbury for over 20 years, but only found this butchers a couple of months ago. Absolutely amazing, the guys that work there are excellent and every helpful. My son recently had a cooking exam (honour guard rack of lamb) couldn't … More think of anywhere better to get or order the meat. The selection of meats is outstanding. I buy my eggs and vegetables too from the farm shop. You might pay … More a tiny bit on some items but not all as my chicken was cheaper than Sainsbury's alternative and was by far tastier and local. Best lamb ever, as my son said, best he has had and "banging" (which interpreted is extremely nice)

Nice enough shop and nice enough staff but when I had asked for some chicken from the butchers counter there seemed to be a total disregard for hygiene and the cross contamination after touching raw poultry. The same hands picked up the … More chicken, bagged the chicken, and used to card machine and till. You'd have thought gloves to pick the product up then bin the gloves or just wash hands in between. Honestly made me sick to my stomach and I was thankful for having antibacterial sanitiser in the car. For that, I would never return
